Who we are?-"Prairie View A&M Produces Productive People" |
PV INSPIRE is a undergrad project engineering team from Prairie View A&M University that is committed to producing engineers of the highest caliber, qualified to take on real-world challenges, big or small, and deliver results. Our end goal this year is to create a (AUV) for the annual RoboSub Competition. Our goal is to create a AUV that can be improved upon for years to come.
To formulate the PV INSPIRE Team we combined engineers from every department to help complete our objective this year. Follow Our Web Page to get Updates on our Progress for the Upcoming Competition! |
DESIGN. BUILD. EXECUTE.
THE HISTORY OF PV AUV
PV AUV, previously known as PVAMU RoboSub, is a senior design research team comprised of engineering students within the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering. Each year, a completely new team of students must work together to design and build a fully autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) capable of competing and completing a series of tasks in the Annual RoboSub Competition in San Diego, CA. For the vehicle to meet the selected tasks, the design must be modified and equipped with specific hardware and software to reach the performance capabilities required to complete each attempted AUVSI mission. PV AUV pushes students to apply all accumulated engineering skills, both technical and non-technical, to successfully integrate a series of engineering disciplines into their final design.
